趁着世界杯来凑凑热闹，转载一些跟足球有关的专用词汇：
field, pitch: 足球场
midfield: 中场
kick-off circle: 中圈
half-way line: 中场线
goalkeeper, goaltender, goalie: 守门员
back: 后卫
right back: 右后卫
full back: 边后卫
midfielder, half back: 前卫
forward, striker: 前锋
center forward, center: 中锋
sweeper: 自由人/清道夫
kick-off: 开球
bicycle kick, overhead kick: 倒钩球
corner ball, corner kick, corner: 角球
goal kick: 球门球
header: 头球
penalty kick: 点球
throw-in: 掷界外球
body check: 身体阻挡
fair charge: 合理冲撞
close pass, short pass: 短传
deceptive movement: 假动作
dribbling: 带球
triangular pass: 三角传球
slide tackle: 铲球
grazing shot: 贴地射门
close-range shot: 近射
long drive: 远射
offside: 越位
to set a wall: 筑人墙
to set the pace: 掌握进攻节奏
four-three-three formation: 4-3-3阵形

似乎1982年之前的都很可爱，而之后的都不怎么样（除了1994年那个）。 
P.S. 美国人始终拒绝叫足球football。在他们眼里，football永远是美式橄榄球，soccer才是足球。

前卫一般是用midfielder，half back基本很少用，边后卫可以用full back。前锋还有一类是striker，一般指射手型的前锋。二前锋或者技术型前锋大多用forward。

纯属个人意见：
fullback / full back 就是后卫吧，等于 defender
striker 就是 forward, 说起来稍微酷一点而已。
再补充一个：
sweeper 清道夫

找到个英文定义： A central defender who plays closest to his own goal behind the rest of the defenders. A team’s last line of defence in front of the goalkeeper.
从来没听说过“清道夫”这个称谓。

俺也是前两天刚知道的，其实这个词还得说是纯粹的英式词汇。

太感谢realdeal 了。我这几天正在疯狂的找“乌龙球”的英文是什么呢。
通过这次找“乌龙球”的英语说法，我发现我手边的汉英资料真的少的可以，想问问你能推荐一些比较好的在线汉英网站吗？或者平时你如果遇到要找对应英文的情况，会怎么处理呢。向你取经啦～～呵呵，我的要求会不会太多呀，不好意思啊。

full back 就是后卫，等于 defender，这个没错的，
但一般中后卫更多是用center defender，用full back来指中后卫的不多，倒是边后卫基本上就用full back。
striker 和forward还是有点小区别的。这个如果你玩e文版的冠军足球经理（以前的CM，现在的FM）就比较清楚，有些球员被标为forward，有些被标为striker. 呵呵。

哎哎~终于还是忍不住去注册了~~~
defender是没错的 CM里面也这么叫~
striker是中锋 forward是一般的前锋或者突前前腰的位置~
基本上维埃里就属于striker 托蒂就是forward~
角球其实corner就足够了
其实我一直在想裁判是怎么说的来的~
以前一直以为是judge
后来有人和我说是referee
直到昨天看电视 才发现原来就是official…
假摔据说叫deceptive 不确定~

刚去google了一下
发现dive好像是美国人说篮球假摔的
也不记得到底是从哪听来的了
印象里就是有这么个词儿…西西~~
晚上看电视再仔细听听….
等yan再给确认一下~~

dive 就是标准，不用讨论了。
fake fall? Sounds Chinglish-ish…
referee, judge, umpire 在美式橄榄球里是有区别的，大家总称 the officials 或者 the authority。在足球里随便混着用。
