 If someone was going to ask me the number one similarity between all of the successful businesses I've seen in the marketplace and the successful businesses that we've worked on and in, it would be this, consistency.

Consistency in their actions, consistency in their message, and most importantly, consistency in their engagement. This is what we're talking about today is consistency and what I'm going to show you is how to create consistency in your marketing and your messaging.

Now consistency is one of those things that most people are very aware that they need and it's something that I see many people make the mistake of.

We all get so excited when we have a new product or service, or when we're launching a new business that we want to share our high-quality information with the world.

But after two months, so many people seem to fall off. So many people if they haven't instantly seen sales or engagement of some kind, they believe that it's not right.

And I just think it's such a shame because if they were able to keep that consistency, they would see that audience growth. Let me give you an example, tgiMondays, tgiMondays has been running for 17 years.

Lots of people have had conversations with us and said, oh, it's easy for you, you have a list, you have these people that you can go to who want to buy your product.

We do, and they're amazing. You are amazing. But the thing is, this didn't come overnight. This was 17 years of building. That's 908 Monday mornings, where you have received a tgiMondays message in your inbox, maybe hosted by two people, but you see the consistency.

So what does that mean for you? What it means is that without going to the marketplace and constantly showing up when people need you and when they don't need you, you'll never be the logical next step.

You'll never be the only choice because you only show up when they potentially don't want you. There have been lots of clients that we've worked with closely and who have become great friends as well, who have been on tgiMondays for years and years and years.

And it's only when the time is right to them, do they approach us, and we're able to work together and create incredible products and amazing services and help them build that business and a life of choice.

So how can we create that consistency?One of the ways is to do content planning, is to plan far ahead, have three months, six months, 12 months ready. not only that but have a formula for the way that you create your content.

I for instance, I've been holding this piece of paper and this is the way the Mondays is created. All that needs to be filled in as these boxes are I need to look at this whenever I'm delivering, and I know the format that I'm using so that I can share these amazing ideas with you.

So here are my suggestions, to create a consistency, pre-plan. To create consistency, have a formula. And I'd like to leave you with this idea from one of the people who helped build YouTube.
